We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for Packed Goods to take full ownership of building our presence in this category within Spain. You'll play a pivotal role in defining and executing a national sales strategy targeting food wholesalers, foodservice distributors, restaurants, and the broader HORECA sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape our market approach, diversify our product portfolio, and build strong supplier and customer networks from the ground up. You’ll drive sales for our packed goods category across Spain, developing customer pipelines, closing strategic accounts, and enhancing product offerings. From segmentation to execution, you’ll lead the full commercial cycle, working closely with suppliers and buyers to grow Wikifarmer’s footprint in the food value chain.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Lead the rollout of our packed goods sales strategy across Spain, with a focus on foodservice, HORECA, and food industry channels
- Segment and prioritise high-potential customer segments, generating and converting leads through outreach, networking, and trade events
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact, crafting pitches, negotiating to deal closure, while building a strong pipeline of opportunities and long-term customer relationships
- Onboard clients to the platform, ensuring smooth adoption and consistent engagement with our digital tools and value-added services
- Source and engage new suppliers to expand our product range in line with market needs and pricing expectations
- Partner with internal teams (Product, Operations, Marketing) to enhance customer experience and share insights to inform go-to-market campaigns and improve product-market fit
What you'll need to bring:
- You must be based in Spain
- Fluency in Spanish and a strong working knowledge of English
- Proven experience in the food industry, food service or HORECA sectors, ideally with strong knowledge of the domestic market.
- Demonstrated track record in domestic sales within Spain, with experience acquiring and managing new customers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in presenting, negotiating, and building customer relationships
- Proficiency in using digital tools like CRM systems like HubSpot and analytics tools is a plus
- Past experience in tech, startups, or fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments is a plus

- A competitive fixed salary of €32k - €50k based on experience plus a generous uncapped commission scheme.
