In a nutshell 🥜
As we are growing our Digital Sales team, we’re searching for a Marketplace Supply Manager, responsible for building, activating, and scaling the supplier side of Wikifarmer’s marketplace.
In this role, you’ll manage the full supplier journey on the platform, from first contact to active participation, while helping lay the foundations for scalable, repeatable supply processes. You’ll work closely with producers, cooperatives, and suppliers to help them successfully join the platform, list their products, and engage with buyers. Your goal is to help suppliers become confident, active users of the platform and manage their presence on the platform independently.
You’ll join a growing, fast-moving team where many things are still being built, which means you’ll have real ownership, direct impact, and the opportunity to shape how supply works in a growing global marketplace.
What you’ll be doing
Supplier onboarding & setup
Guide new suppliers through registration, profile setup, and their first product listings
Ensure supplier profiles are complete and accurate (products, pricing, photos, certifications)
Collect and review supplier documentation related to quality, exports, and food standards
Proactively follow up with suppliers who haven’t completed their setup
Supplier activation & ongoing support
Engage suppliers after onboarding to help them stay active and responsive
Support suppliers in navigating the platform and responding to buyer requests
Answer supplier questions via phone, email, and chat
Identify recurring supplier questions or friction points and share feedback with the team
Data & catalog quality
Curate supplier and product data to improve catalog quality and consistency
Help structure and maintain well-developed product categories
Work with Category Managers when a supplier requires deeper commercial support
Sourcing & new category development
Research target markets and identify new suppliers to strengthen the marketplace
Build and maintain prospect lists for priority categories and regions
Proactively reach out to suppliers via email, phone, and social channels
Monitor industry trends and competitor platforms to inform sourcing decisions
Process & scalability
Help document and improve supplier-related processes and workflows
Identify manual or repetitive tasks and suggest ways to automate or simplify them
Contribute to playbooks and templates that support future growth
What you’ll bring to the table:
At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years working in a marketplace, digital business, or similar platform-driven environment
Confidence running online demos, calls, or group sessions, and explaining digital tools to non-technical audiences
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging suppliers one-to-one and at scale
Experience prospecting and engaging new suppliers through outbound approaches such as email, phone, or social channels
Hands-on experience working with a CRM to track supplier interactions, follow-ups, and progress
A data-oriented mindset, using numbers and signals to understand engagement, prioritize actions, and improve outcomes
Ability to build structure in fast-moving environments, where processes and playbooks are still evolving
A natural tendency to identify manual or repetitive work and suggest improvements or automation
A practical, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance execution and long-term thinking
What we're offering:
A competitive fixed salary based on experience plus a generous uncapped commission scheme
Private medical insurance for you and your family
24 days annual leave plus public and national holidays
Unlimited access to Coursera for learning and development
High ownership and development in a fast-growing team, with room to step up and advance your career
